Netwide Computing Ltd. is a long established software house. We pride ourselves in the quality of the software we produce and our ability to meet the agreed timescales.

We provide a wide range of software consultancy services. These include   Analysis, Design, Documentation, Development, Testing & Debugging. Our core interests are focused on the areas of 'Embedded Software' and 'Windows Applications'  although we do undertake projects in other fields when appropriate. Hardware design and development is available which enables us to provide a full product development service.

We can provide full 'life cycle' development of a project from concept to completion. Also available is the option for a brief consultation to get development back on track. You can use our services in a modular way to enhance your own in house development.

We provide software engineering and development services to a wide range of clients. Some are large companies, leaders in their fields selling products to customers around the globe. Others are individual inventors wishing to make one-off prototypes. 

We also welcome the opportunity to work in collaboration with other companies. We have in the past proven that there can be successful collaborative arrangements that work well for all companies involved.

At the heart of our business is a simple overriding philosophy. Our ultimate aim is to provide an efficient software solution that not only meets the required specification but is robust, as free from errors as possible and easily supportable. In short we seek to produce software perfection.

We believe that for the long term prosperity of the UK & to protect the IPR of UK based companies it is vital to keep all development services based within the UK. With this in mind we do NOT use development services abroad or subcontract work to other companies. All development work done by Netwide Computing Ltd. is done by our engineers based in the UK.

Like all companies we need to be competitive in the marketplace. We achieve this by cutting our costs not the quality of the work that we do. We do not spend large budgets on entertaining, marketing or renting office space that is in a fashionable location.

Ability to meet the demands.

Before undertaking the development of a project we carefully evaluate the requirements to determine the resources that need to be allocated. During this evaluation we will gain a clear understanding of your goals. We always ensure that there will be extra resources available should they be needed.

It is understood that all projects are subject to change during the development time. New ideas and early testing often show areas where improvements can be made. This inevitably leads to a change in the specification of a project. We aim to remain as flexible as possible throughout the development process.

Fees.

The fees involved with the development of a project are determined on an individual assessment of each project. The fees are affected by the quantity of resources that need to be made available for the project. The timescale over which the project is to extend affects the estimate. Any discounts available will also affect the cost of development.

We aim to provide high quality, U.K. based software development for as little as £15 per hour. 

Collaborative projects may be undertaken without initial development fees if a credible commercial case and royalty structure are presented.

In applicable circumstances a 'partnership' development scheme may be considered where we will accept a profit sharing scheme in lieu of payment for some or all software development costs. This is evaluated on the merits of each application and is intended to provide support for individual inventors, young companies and companies with a good idea but a small development budget.
